エディンバラは結局３回も訪れてしまいました。訪れるならやっぱりエディンバラ際開催の時期がいいと思います。この時は街の人口が普段の２倍にもなるそうです。ホント世界中のいろいろな大道芸人のパフォーマンスを楽しめます。日本人の若手お笑い芸人らしき人も、必死で拙い英語とパフォーマンスで観光客を笑わせてました。こんな異国の地で自分一人の力だけで演技して立派だなあと思ったりしました。それにしても、もう午後７時をとっくに回ってるってのに明るいよね。でもね、冬って朝の８時頃まで真っ暗。そんなのラップランドみたいな所だけかと思ってました。こっちで暮らしてみての小さな驚き。 「スコット卿記念塔の尖塔にて」 |
